We're a group of engineers, operators, and builders who like fixing things. Edmund grew out of that mindset: practical, hands-on, and focused on what works.
While working hands-on with factories as Edima Solutions, we kept seeing the same recurring problems: loss of know-how, constant firefighting, operator turnover, and the pain of keeping production running at 2 a.m. Instead of solving these challenges one factory at a time, we decided to build a product. That's when Edmund was born, a dependable digital technician, a "knight" that shows up when your line needs him most.
We raised a €500,000 pre-seed round from Lighthouse Ventures, Czech Founders, Borovička Capital, and Tensor Ventures. Launched the Alpha version of Edmund and signed our first dozen POCs with manufacturing companies eager to test AI on real maintenance problems.
Edmund matured into Beta, ready for continuous deployment. We expanded our team with AI scientists and engineers to support real-world use cases. Began testing Edmund directly on manufacturing lines, capturing tribal know-how and guiding operators step by step. Attended multiple U.S. industry events and began exploring international expansion opportunities.
Signed our first recurring-model customers, including companies like Amcor. We grew the team again, adding Customer Success, Implementation, and Sales, and completing our engineering capability. Released Edmund AI 1.0, the first fully operational version built for 24/7 industrial reliability.
Began expansion into Poland as our second core market. Opened our Prague office. Launched a new wave of feasibility studies with manufacturers across Europe. Added several specialized AI agents to strengthen Edmund's core diagnostic and guidance capabilities.
Our HQ sits in the technology district of Ostrava. Part of our sales team works from our Prague office, and we'll soon be opening one in the United States.
